Casey Carney
I have had an interest in wildlife and photography for as long as I can remember. Going through my dad's National Geographic books, catalogs, and magazines since I was a small child, my interest became piqued. I’ve always wanted to see and experience these magnificent places and creatures in the world and capture them in images for others to feel the same awe and inspiration as I did when I first opened a wildlife book. For now, I’ve only had the pleasure of exploring the west coast of the United States but hope to one day truly expand my global horizons. I’ve been fooling around with cameras of different types since I was a kid (whether they were functional or not), and I never let my imagination stop me. I worked as a service technician in the food industry for 10 years but in the last few years I have since reinvested in my once passionate hobby and with recent events, I have been able to start focusing on this passion full time as a career. I break into portraiture from time to time but mainly focus on nature, landscapes, wildlife, and occasional astrophotography. Here you will find highlights from shoots and adventures, as well as some stories and writings behind them.
